Enterprise portal

Portal basics

The web portal is where organisations manage RapidShield. Three different roles land in three different places after the same login screen. This page covers what they share.

What the portal is

A browser application, no install. It is where you buy and allocate protection, not where you receive it. The protection itself is always delivered through the mobile app on each person's phone.

Every sidebar carries a "Get the RapidShield app" block for exactly that reason: the people you add here need the app on their phone before any of it matters.

The three portal roles

RoleLands onCan do
Corporate manager/enterprise/dashboardStaff seats, bulk import, incident dashboard, billing, seat requests, org settings. See Guide
Estate manager/estate/dashboardResidents, gate staff, code history, resident incidents, entry-code rules, billing. See Guide
Gate security/securityVerify codes, record entries and exits, gate history, incidents. See Guide
You cannot switch roles

Your account has one role. Typing another role's URL redirects you back to your own home. If you manage both a company and an estate, you need two accounts with two email addresses.

Signing in

  1. Open the portal URL

Your onboarding email contains it. You land on /login.

  2. Enter your work email and password

The same email you registered the organisation or estate with.

  3. You are routed by role

The portal sends you to your own dashboard automatically. If you are already signed in, visiting the login page bounces you straight there.

Two registration links sit under the form: Register (a company) and Register your Estate.

Verify your email

New accounts get a verification email. Follow the link to /verify-email and the portal confirms the address. Until you do, some actions may be restricted, so verify before you start onboarding staff.

Forgot and reset password

  1. Click "Forgot password" on /login

    Enter your account email.

  2. Open the reset link in your email

    It takes you to /reset-password.

  3. Set a new password

Minimum 8 characters. Use the eye icon to check what you typed before submitting.

Already signed in? Change it under Settings → Security & Authentication instead.

Every portal screen has the same three parts:

  • Sidebar: your section links, the "Get the RapidShield app" block, and Log Out at the bottom. It collapses on narrow screens.
  • Top bar: the page context, plus a notifications bell.
  • Page body: a page title, then stat cards, charts, tables or forms.

Tables, filters and pagination

Most portal work is done in tables, and they all behave the same way:

  • Search boxes filter as you type, for example "Search name, email or house…"
  • Dropdown filters narrow by status, direction or date range.
  • Pagination sits under the table; there is no infinite scroll.
  • Empty states say so plainly: "No members found", "No transactions yet", "No invoices found".
  • Some tables offer a CSV export. Use it for audits and reconciliation.

Notifications and toasts

  • Toasts: brief confirmations in the corner after you save, add or delete something. They fade on their own.
  • The Notifications page: a persistent list, grouped by day (Today, Yesterday). Each has Mark read, and some carry a Download PDF for invoices and statements. Load older notifications is at the bottom. Empty: "No notifications yet."
Check notifications weekly

Seat-request decisions, payment confirmations and renewal reminders all arrive here. It is the only place some of them appear.
